3D Modeling

Studies into chain link failure have identified heavy surface pits as potential crack propagation points. If pitting is identified during inspection, Welaptega 3D Modeling will be deployed to take high resolution images. These images are post-processed to build a geometrically correct models of the area of concern.

Deliverables include:

Anomaly report identifying lines and links in question, as well as the type and nature of anomaly
High quality digital photographs of anomalous surfaces
3D surface geometry model available for Finite Element Analysis
Measurement data concerning the anomaly, ie: surface area of pitting, depth, loss of material, etc.
