We would like to welcome co-op student Nathan Robinson back to the Welaptega Team. Our avid blog readers might remember a Q&A we did with Nathan back in August 2015 regarding his co-op experience at Welaptega. For those of you who haven’t had a chance to read it, you can do so by clicking here.
Nathan is back for his third stint at Welaptega and will be putting into practice the theory learned in the classroom for not one, but two back-to-back work terms for a total of eight months. Nathan will be returning to Dalhousie University in September 2016 to commence his last year of his Mechanical Engineering degree, which is set to conclude in April of 2017.
During his time with us Nathan will be working on design aspects of our new tool, SAMIR. Nathan will also be investigating 3D modeling projects to help Welaptega fully understand the capabilities of our technology. It is our hope that with the knowledge Nathan gains from his experience here at Welaptega, coupled with his extensive education, he will be more than ready to enter the workforce with a competitive edge after graduation.
We asked Nathan what he missed most about Welaptega during his time away from us and Nathan answered by saying “I missed seeing all the wonderful people at Welaptega each and every day!” Thanks Nathan, we missed see you too buddy and we are all looking forward to working with you again.
