Fountain of youth

Welaptega is seeing a sharp increase in demand for moorings inspection in support of FPS life extension projects, with two currently underway and another in planning.  Analysis of residual strength and remaining fatigue life of components requires quantitative inspection technology combined with a thorough risk-based approach to identifying potential failure points.  Welaptega can perform quantitative in-situ inspection to support an Operator’s own life extension analysis or, for the most efficient result, a Mooring Fitness for Purpose Assessment (MFPA) performed jointly with BPP-TECH (www.bpp-tech.com) combining inspection and engineering analysis.
