Welaptega Marine is approved as a service supplier by Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and Lloyds Register.
In 2008, Welaptega was awarded the DNV Approval of Service Suppliers Certificate. Welaptega is approved to make decisions affecting classification and statutory surveys of offshore assets.
The DNV certificate covers Welaptega’s Chain Measurement Systems (CMS), 3D Video System (3DV) and its 3D Modeling System (3DM).
The certificate covers in-water surveys of Mobile Offshore Units and mooring systems on various offshore facilities including production and drilling rigs. The certificate also applies to long-term chain mooring systems.
In November 2007, Welaptega received the UR-17 supplier’s approval certificate from Lloyds Register.
The certificate covers Welaptega’s in-water surveys of mooring systems, fixed and floating offshore installations, mobile offshore units and ships. It also includes the survey of pipelines and subsea architecture.
