Welaptega 3D

When offshore assets are underwater, they can difficult to see. This is a problem when subsea assets are damaged by age-related wear or impact.

Welaptega’s 3D imaging technologies can be deployed to inspect subsea assets while they are at work in the water.

Welaptega 3D used during Deepwater Horizon

Our 3D modeling system was deployed to the Macondo wellhead  during the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Accurate measurements taken from that confirmed the precise dimensions of the leaking wellhead and those dimensions were used to fabricate a cap to shut the well.

Our 3D modeling system constructs  computer models of unprecedented accuracy allowing operators to assess underwater damage on subsea assets such as moorings, well heads, pipelines and risers.
